Laura Lechner is a GBJCL tutor at the Potter Road Elementary School in Framingham. She is one of 17 GBJCL tutors from Temple Beth Elohim in Wellesley who travel to Framingham weekly to work with students in our 1:1 reading program.

Laura has been a tutor for two years now, first working with 2 students in the first grade and now with students in kindergarten and the second grade. She has been so inspired by her experience as a GBJCL tutor that she has decided to make reading and literacy instruction her next career!

This summer, Laura enrolled at Lesley University to earn an advanced degree as a reading specialist and to devote her future work efforts to help young students learn to read!
