Literacy Tutoring Tip:
Spelling Scramble

Are you looking for a new way to help kids learn their spelling list words or practice high frequency words? Make it fun with a word scramble!

Take the words you want your student to practice, and mix up the letters in each word. Give the list to your student and ask them to unscramble them by spelling them correctly. Once they get better at it, time them, and make it a race to beat the clock!

Example:
mjup = jump
rbag = grab
huoes = house
