GBJCL Pairs with Dnep Kehillah Project!
The Greater Boston Jewish Coalition for Literacy recently paired with JCRC's Dnep Kehillah Project to create online video books for the elementary school students in the Ukrainian Jewish day school. B'nai mitzvah students from Temple Emmanuel in Newton took on Literacy as their mitzvah project issue, and wanted to contribute to the English language classes in Dnep. To do this, they purchased books for the students, and read them aloud on video for the students to see.
