Literacy Resources
GBJCL has compiled a list of resources you can use with the students you are tutoring and/or your own family at home. You will also find links to websites that publish articles about current events in education and best teaching practices, some suggested book lists and games activities to use with children. It is our hope that our tutors as well as the community at large will use these resources to enhance their tutoring and knowledge of education issues in America today.

In honor of the GBJCL’s commitment to fantastic and meaningful children’s literature, we will be featuring two contemporary works of children’s literature each month. The GBJCL encourages you to explore and get to know new authors, illustrators and characters with the children in your lives. So go ahead and run (don’t walk!) to your local library, bookseller or book shelf and discover again and again the joy of reading.
