Exciting summer volunteer opportunity! Apply now to be a camp counselor in Dnepropetrovsk!
JCRC’s English Language Committee partners with the Hebrew Day School, which has an enrollment of more than 400 students in grades 1-12. The committee, which includes volunteers and local ESL professionals, worked with our partners to implement a new English curriculum. The committee also oversees an annual, three-week English Language Immersion Program at the Day School that brings Boston-area college students to serve as counselors, and ESL professionals to share their expertise as master teachers. By creating an immersion environment, the camp allows both the students and their teachers to improve their English skills. The camp has helped make learning English a community priority.
