Shaker Bidrah- Hip Fracture Program
In 2005, with special funding from the Israel and Overseas Commission of CJP, JCRC and Hebrew SeniorLife launched Shaker Bidrah, a hip fracture surgery program that provides medical care for elderly Jews who have fractured or broken their hips. More than 100 people have received life-saving hip replacement surgery, nearly half of them at no cost to them.
