Send page to a Friend Learn More/ Resources Student Essay Contest in honor of Israel Arbeiter Launched The New England Holocaust Memorial and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston to commemorate the Holocaust announce the first annual Israel Arbeiter Essay Contest. This annual contest will ask students to consider a Holocaust-related theme and respond thoughtfully in an essay form. The contest will honor President of the American Association of Holocaust Survivors Israel Arbeteiter, a Holocaust survivor and community advocate who has worked tirelessly to commemorate and educate others about the Holocaust.
