EARLY Act
At the federal level, JCRC/MAJF sent a letter to the all of the Massachusetts Senators and Congressmen opposing the Education and Awareness Requires Learning Young (EARLY) Act. The EARLY act aims to educate and screen young women for breast cancer. Experts believe that this bill and the research is not based on scientific fact and that the $9 million would be better spent over five years doing more research rather than superfluous testing for young women.
