Health Care Principles
The JCRC Public Policy Committee has also prioritized focusing on bills that relate to caring for elders and adults with disabilities. In addition, the Public Policy Committee and the JCRC Council approved principles in support of federal health care reform. Some of these principles include: Universal access to health services; Caring for the most vulnerable; Incorporating long-term services and supports; Choice and affordability; Equity; and Comprehensive Care.
