MCAS
JCRC/MAJF House Bill 473, An Act Permitting Non Public School Students to Take the MCAS Exam. This bill would allow non-public school students to take the MCAS exam which is currently only administered to public school students. As a result private school students, including those at Jewish day schools would be eligible for the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship. This merit-based scholarship, awarded to students based on their MCAS score, can be used by students to pay for eight semesters at Massachusetts public colleges and universities.
