Transportation Reform
The state is in the process of making major changes to its transportation system. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) brings together the now-defunct Mass Turnpike Authority and MBTA under state oversight. New MassDOT Secretary and CEO, Jeffrey Mullan takes the reigns of this new agency with the mission to make a more efficient and consumer friendly transportation system.
