Transgender Bill
Enid Shapiro testified on behalf of JCRC regarding House Bill 1728, An Act Relative to Gender-Based Discrimination and Hate Crimes. The testimony stressed the importance of penalties for hate related crimes and reinforced that as Jews our community is sensitive to these concerns as our own history has made us acutely aware of the impact and devastation caused by bias motivated crimes.
