Criteria for Review of Grants
The Israel Campus Roundtable will apply the following criteria in evaluating project proposals. In your application for funding, please demonstrate how the proposed project will meet these criteria.
-
Program focuses on one of the following priority areas: Making Israel’s case; promoting a fair and honest understanding of the Middle East Conflict; celebrating Israel’s contributions to the world through cultural, social or other apolitical means; encouraging others to travel to Israel; creating positive messages about Israel.
-
Program or project builds coalition(s) with at least one other campus group (other groups can be Jewish or non-Jewish—ideally both are involved).
-
Program targets both Jewish and non-Jewish students as well as those who are strongly and less strongly identified as pro-Israel.
-
Project includes a clear marketing and publicity plan.
-
Project fulfills demonstrated need on campus without duplicating efforts of other organizations.
