On Monday January 10, along with the Consulate General of Israel to New England, JCRC honored MA AFL-CIO past president Robert Haynes for his long years of partnership and service.

During the event Consul Shai Bazak awarded Mr. Haynes in recognition of his strong friendship and advocacy on behalf of Israel, particularly in areas such as Iran Divestment.

Also in attendance were: current MA AFL-CIO President Steve Tolman, representatives from the Jewish Labor Committee, the Massachusetts Teacher's Association, the Labor Guild and the Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development. Leadership from Boston's Jewish community was also in attendance with past JCRC president Don Siegel, JCRC current president Bill Gabovitch, CJP President Barry Shrage, JCRC Executive Director Jeremy Burton and Deputy Director Alan Ronkin.
