(Boston) JCRC joins Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak in condemning this morning’s attack by criminal groups of extremists on an Israeli Defense Force base in the West Bank. Netanyahu and Barak accurately identified “an air of self-made terrorism” surrounding the attack and called for steps to bring the perpetrators to justice. Later, the Prime Minister continued: “We will not tolerate a situation in which IDF officers and soldiers are attacked and distracted from protecting Israeli citizens.”
JCRC Executive Director Jeremy Burton commented: “We support the Israeli government’s resolve to put an end to the wave of “price tag” terrorism and to continue its quest for a negotiated settlement of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.”
