Send Page to a Friend Jewish Community Leaders Applaud Progress Toward Middle East Peace On May 28, 2003 the Executive Committee of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston issued the following statement: JCRC of Greater Boston:   IDENTIFYING with the deep yearning of the people of Israel for peace and security,  APPLAUDS the Israeli Government's May 25, 2003 acceptance of the steps set out in the Road Map, and WELCOMES the United States' renewed engagement in the Middle East peace process, and APPLAUDS the United States' May 23, 2003 commitment to fully and seriously address Israel's comments to the Road Map during the implementation stage, and REITERATES its earlier calls for an immediate, unconditional end to Palestinian terror and for a peaceful resolution of the Middle East conflict.
