The Jewish Community Relations Council's Israel Action Center hosted a "Cambridge Town Hall Meeting: Israel Decides," featuring Gil Tamary, Washington Correspondent for Israel's Channel 10, on March 27 at Temple Beth Shalom.
Set on the eve of the Israeli elections, Tamary briefed the over 200-person audience with up-to-the munute information on the elctions and its impact on ISrael, the Palestinians and prospects for peace. After the briefing, community members had the opportunity to share their thoughts and concerns in an open discussion.
Before coming to Washington, Tamary served as anchor and chief editor of Channel 10's "Good Morning ISrael." Prior to that, he worked as the Washington Bureau chief for the Israel Boradcasting Authority and Kol Israel (Voice of Israel).
