Three students from the Israel at Heart program enjoyed an open discussion with a grop of 15 teens at Roxbury's Yawkey Boys and Girls Club last week. The Israeli students shared personal experiences and perspectives about Israel. They also talked about the remarkable similarities and interests they share with American students. Yawkey teens asked questions about life in Isreal and the recent war. The visit, organized by the Jewish Community Relations council, was the last stop on a two-week tour of New England before the students return to Israel. JCRC, CJP and local Hillels collaborated through the Israel Campus Roundtable to bring the grop to local universities. Campus stops included Brandeis, Tufts, MIT, Harvard and Boston University where they interacted with their peers.
