(Boston, August 7th, 2007)  On Wednesday, August 8th, the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston and more than a dozen Jewish Massachusetts state legislators will host a reception for the National Association of Jewish Legislators at 126 High Street from 5:30pm-7pm.  The legislators will be in Boston as part of the National Conference of State Legislators.

"NAJL has provided me the opportunity to exchange ideas with other Jewish legislators from across the country on common issues ranging from support for Israel, separation of church and state, and human rights," said Rep. Ruth Balser, a leading coordinator of the event. "I am delighted that the NCSL Conference gives us the chance to introduce NAJL to the Massachusetts Jewish community."

The event, chaired by Steve Grossman and Alan Solomont, will host dozens of Jewish legislators from across the country along with key leaders of the Boston Jewish community.

"We're thrilled to host the NAJL reception and connect Jewish legislators in a way that is both meaningful and productive," said JCRC Director Nancy K Kaufman.
