Send Page to a Friend McGee, Sherman honored at JCRC Legislative Reception on Feb. 6   By The Jewish Journal   The Massachusetts Association of Jewish Federations and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston honored Senator Thomas McGee and University of Massachusetts, Boston Vice-Chancellor Albert Sherman at its tenth annual legislative reception on Feb. 6. Senator McGee recently played a key role in supporting the funding for the Aging Well at Home Initiative managed by the Jewish Family Service of the North Shore.  Also at the event, Albert Sherman, Vice-Chancellor at UMass Boston, was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award.  Sherman is largely responsible for establishing the close alliance between the Massachusetts legislature and the Jewish community.
