(Boston, September 6, 2007)  The Jewish Community Relations Council's 63rd Annual Meeting takes place today at 11:30 AM at the Boston Sheraton Hotel.  The meeting will feature election of new officers, including Stuart Rossman as President and a keynote address by Michael Brown, founder of City Year.

"I am honored to have the privilege of serving as President of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston.  Continuing the 63 year old tradition of the organization, I look forward with great excitement to working with our wonderful staff and lay leadership to pursue social justice, to ensure a vibrant Jewish community and to build a strong network of support for Israel," says newly elected President, Stuart T. Rossman.

Nancy K. Kaufman, Executive Director of JCRC added, "We are thrilled to have Stuart Rossman become our president at this very important time for the Jewish community.   As we approach the Jewish New Year, we renew our commitment to our values and to our mission.  Stuart's leadership will allow us to continue to fulfill our role as the public affairs voice of the organized Jewish community."
