Chief Development Officer (CDO): Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Chief Development Officer (CDO) serves as a key member of the senior management team and an active participant in making strategic decisions affecting the JCRC. In partnership with the ED, this position is responsible for all fundraising, development, and strategic communications planning and activities. The successful candidate will help forge new relationships to build JCRC’s visibility, impact, brand recognition and reputation, and financial resources. The CDO will have primary responsibility for establishing and implementing the infrastructure needed to grow the JCRC budget through the solicitation of individual major gifts, grants, special events, and corporate and foundation support. The CDO will expand and diversify JCRC’s base and develop a deeper pipeline of donors. The CDO will work closely with other team members to secure funding for existing and new initiatives and with the board of directors to support them as they take on a more active fundraising role. The CDO will work towards the goal of advancing JCRC’s position with relevant constituents and drive broader awareness and donor support for the organization.
