What is B’nai TELEM?

In Hebrew, TELEM means “moving together”. It’s also an acronym for Tenuah L’tzi’irim Mitnadvim, Movement for Youth Volunteers.  Join other b’nai mitzvah students and explore different ways you can serve your community and how you can make your mark!

You Can Make a Difference!

B’nai TELEM is a community service and Jewish learning program for b’nai mitzvah students.  Over 300 b’nai mitzvah students throughout Greater Boston are integrating community service into their bar or bat mitzvah experience and making social justice work a part of their lives!  B’nai TELEM will provide opportunities for you to see where you can have an impact and in and around your community and give you the tools to effect real change!  In addition to helping others, you’ll learn about the values that have guided Jews for thousands of years through learning and reflection.
