For the last XX years, TELEM has provided students with the opportunity to assist rebuilding efforts in areas of New York that were damaged by Hurricane Sandy.
These service trips include an exploration of Jewish sites and history on the Lower east Side of Manhattan and 3-4 days of rebuilding and repairing homes of those effected by the storm.
Over February vacation 2016, TELEM is expanding their service trips by visiting New Orleans for one week to aid in the ongoing rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Katrina.
